The FAO Food Price Index of the month of November 2019 reached the 98.6 points, which meant an increase of 3.57% in relation to previous mensual index of October, that was 95.2 points (+3.4 pts), and was placed a 3.68% above the annual average of 95.1 points recorded (+3.5 pts).
The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 101 points was 2.43% higgher than the selected month (+2.4 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 93.2, that is 5.79% lower than the 98.6 points of November 2019 (-5.4 pts).
In relation to the values of the previous year, in November 2019 there was a year-on-year increase of 6.94%, 6.4 points above the 92.2 pts reached in the same month of 2018.
