The FAO Food Price Index of the month of June 2020 reached the 93.3 points, which meant a increase of 2.41% in relation to previous mensual index of May, that was 91.1 points (+2.2 pts), and was placed a -4.92% under the annual average of 98.13 points recorded (-4.83 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 108.6 points was 16.4% higgher than the selected month (+15.3 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 91.1, that is 2.41% lower than the 93.3 points of June 2020 (-2.2 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in June 2020 there was a year-on-year decline of -2.2%, 2.1 points under the 95.4 pts reached in the same month of 2019.
