The FAO Food Price Index of the month of June 2019 reached the 95.4 points, which meant an increase of 1.17% in relation to previous mensual index of May, that was 94.3 points (+1.1 pts), and was placed a 0.32% above the annual average of 95.1 points recorded (+0.3 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 101 points was 5.87% higgher than the selected month (+5.6 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 93.2, that is 2.36% lower than the 95.4 points of June 2019 (-2.2 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in June 2019 there was a year-on-year decline of -1.65%, 1.6 points under the 97 pts reached in the same month of 2018.
