The FAO Vegetable Oil Price Index of the month of October 2020 reached the 106.45 points, which meant an increase of 1.77% in relation to previous mensual index of September, that was 104.6 points (+1.85 pts), and was placed a 7.05% above the annual average of 99.44 points recorded (+7.01 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 131.2 points was 23.25% higgher than the selected month (+24.75 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 77.77, that is 36.88% lower than the 106.45 points of October 2020 (-28.68 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in October 2020 there was a year-on-year increase of 26.56%, 22.34 points above the 84.11 pts reached in the same month of 2019.
