The FAO Meat Price Index of the month of July 2005 reached the 71.9 points, which meant an decline of -1.51% in relation to previous mensual index of June, that was 73 points (-1.1 pts), and was placed a 0.2% above the annual average of 71.76 points recorded (+0.14 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 73.6 points was 2.36% higgher than the selected month (+1.7 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 68.6, that is 4.81% lower than the 71.9 points of July 2005 (-3.3 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in July 2005 there was a year-on-year increase of 1.7%, 1.2 points above the 70.7 pts reached in the same month of 2004.
