The FAO Food Price Index of the month of June 2022 reached the 154.7 points, which meant an decline of -2.15% in relation to previous mensual index of May, that was 158.1 points (-3.4 pts), and was placed a 7.69% above the annual average of 143.65 points recorded (+11.05 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 159.7 points was 3.23% higgher than the selected month (+5 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 131.8, that is 17.37% lower than the 154.7 points of June 2022 (-22.9 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in June 2022 there was a year-on-year increase of 23.46%, 29.4 points above the 125.3 pts reached in the same month of 2021.
