The FAO Food Price Index of the month of June 2017 reached the 98 points, which meant a increase of 0.62% in relation to previous mensual index of May, that was 97.4 points (+0.6 pts), and was placed a -0.01% under the annual average of 98.01 points recorded (-0.01 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 100.2 points was 2.24% higgher than the selected month (+2.2 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 95.1, that is 3.05% lower than the 98 points of June 2017 (-2.9 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in June 2017 there was a year-on-year increase of 4.48%, 4.2 points above the 93.8 pts reached in the same month of 2016.
