Origin Prices
The origin price of Albacore along the week from 18 to 24 of June 2018 reached the 8.44 euros per kilogram, which meant an increase of 26.73% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 6.66€/kg (+1.78€), and was placed a 53.62% above the annual average of 5.49€/kg recorded (+2.95€).
The record of this week was the highest value achieved throughout the year, with a difference of 1218.75% above the lowest weekly value , that was 0.64€/kg (-7.8€).
In relation to the values of the previous year, in 25th week of 2018 there was a year-on-year increase of 8.62%, 0.67 euros above the 7.77€ reached in the same week of 2017.
Wholesale Prices
Regarding the wholesale price, this reached the 9.08 euros per kilogram, which meant an increase of 12.1% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 8.1€/kg (+0.98€), and was placed a 29.11% above the annual average of 7.03€/kg recorded (+2.05€).
The highest weekly value achieved throughout the year of 9.46 euros was 4.19% higgher than the selected week (+0.38€), while the lowest value during the period was 5.37, that is 69.09% lower than the 9.08€/kg of 25th week of 2018 (-3.71€).
In relation to the values of the previous year, in 25th week of 2018 there was a year-on-year increase of 17.92%, 1.38 euros above the 7.7€ reached in the same week of 2017.
Retail Prices
Regarding the retail price, this reached the 13.39 euros per kilogram, which meant an increase of 0.9% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 13.27€/kg (+0.12€), and was placed a 1.5% above the annual average of 13.19€/kg recorded (+0.2€).
The highest weekly value achieved throughout the year of 14.81 euros was 10.6% higgher than the selected week (+1.42€), while the lowest value during the period was 11.88, that is 12.71% lower than the 13.39€/kg of 25th week of 2018 (-1.51€).
In relation to the values of the previous year, in 25th week of 2018 there was a year-on-year increase of 8.33%, 1.03 euros above the 12.36€ reached in the same week of 2017.
