The FAO Sugar Price Index of the month of July 2021 reached the 109.6 points, which meant an increase of 1.76% in relation to previous mensual index of June, that was 107.7 points (+1.9 pts), and was placed a 0.24% above the annual average of 109.34 points recorded (+0.26 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 121.2 points was 10.58% higgher than the selected month (+11.6 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 94.2, that is 16.35% lower than the 109.6 points of July 2021 (-15.4 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in July 2021 there was a year-on-year increase of 44.21%, 33.6 points above the 76 pts reached in the same month of 2020.
