The FAO Sugar Price Index of the month of February 2015 reached the 90.3 points, which meant an decline of -4.95% in relation to previous mensual index of January, that was 95 points (-4.7 pts), and was placed a 8.56% above the annual average of 83.18 points recorded (+7.12 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 95 points was 5.2% higgher than the selected month (+4.7 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 71.2, that is 26.83% lower than the 90.3 points of February 2015 (-19.1 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in February 2015 there was a year-on-year decline of -11.99%, 12.3 points under the 102.6 pts reached in the same month of 2014.
