The FAO Vegetable Oil Price Index of the month of June 2021 reached the 157.7 points, which meant a decline of -9.83% in relation to previous mensual index of May, that was 174.9 points (-17.2 pts), and was placed a -4.34% under the annual average of 164.86 points recorded (-7.16 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 184.8 points was 17.18% higgher than the selected month (+27.1 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 138.87, that is 13.56% lower than the 157.7 points of June 2021 (-18.83 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in June 2021 there was a year-on-year increase of 82.08%, 71.09 points above the 86.61 pts reached in the same month of 2020.
