The FAO Vegetable Oil Price Index of the month of July 2021 reached the 155.5 points, which meant a decline of -1.4% in relation to previous mensual index of June, that was 157.7 points (-2.2 pts), and was placed a -5.68% under the annual average of 164.86 points recorded (-9.36 pts).
The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 184.8 points was 18.84% higgher than the selected month (+29.3 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 138.87, that is 11.98% lower than the 155.5 points of July 2021 (-16.63 pts).
In relation to the values of the previous year, in July 2021 there was a year-on-year increase of 66.85%, 62.3 points above the 93.2 pts reached in the same month of 2020.
