The FAO Meat Price Index of the month of September 2021 reached the 112.7 points, which meant an decline of -0.62% in relation to previous mensual index of August, that was 113.4 points (-0.7 pts), and was placed a 4.62% above the annual average of 107.73 points recorded (+4.98 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 114.1 points was 1.24% higgher than the selected month (+1.4 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 96, that is 17.4% lower than the 112.7 points of September 2021 (-16.7 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in September 2021 there was a year-on-year increase of 23.17%, 21.2 points above the 91.5 pts reached in the same month of 2020.
