The FAO Meat Price Index of the month of September 2022 reached the 120.3 points, which meant an decline of -0.66% in relation to previous mensual index of August, that was 121.1 points (-0.8 pts), and was placed a 1.28% above the annual average of 118.78 points recorded (+1.52 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 125.9 points was 4.66% higgher than the selected month (+5.6 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 112.1, that is 7.31% lower than the 120.3 points of September 2022 (-8.2 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in September 2022 there was a year-on-year increase of 6.74%, 7.6 points above the 112.7 pts reached in the same month of 2021.
