The origin price of Romaine Lettuce along the week from 9 to 15 of January 2023 reached the 0.21 euros each piece, which meant a decline of -4.55% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 0.22€/pc (-0.01€), and was placed a -31.15% under the annual average of 0.31€/pc recorded (-0.1€).

This is the lowest record reached in the entire year, presenting a difference of +0.18€/pc (85.71%) with respect to the highest weekly value of 2023, which was 0.39 euros.

In relation to the values of the previous year, in 2nd week of 2023 there was a year-on-year decline of -8.7%, 0.02 euros under the 0.23€ reached in the same week of 2022.

Regarding the wholesale price, this reached the 0.63 euros each piece, which meant a decline of -4.55% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 0.66€/pc (-0.03€), and was placed a -12.86% under the annual average of 0.72€/pc recorded (-0.09€).

This is the lowest record reached in the entire year, presenting a difference of +0.18€/pc (28.57%) with respect to the highest weekly value of 2023, which was 0.81 euros.

In relation to the values of the previous year, in 2nd week of 2023 there was a year-on-year increase of 12.5%, 0.07 euros above the 0.56€ reached in the same week of 2022.
