The FAO Sugar Price Index of the month of September 2022 reached the 109.7 points, which meant a decline of -0.72% in relation to previous mensual index of August, that was 110.5 points (-0.8 pts), and was placed a -4.16% under the annual average of 114.46 points recorded (-4.76 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 121.5 points was 10.76% higgher than the selected month (+11.8 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 108.6, that is 1.01% lower than the 109.7 points of September 2022 (-1.1 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in September 2022 there was a year-on-year decline of -9.49%, 11.5 points under the 121.2 pts reached in the same month of 2021.
