The record of this month was the highest value achieved throughout the year, with a difference of 45.68% above the lowest monthly value , that was 35.9 points (-16.4 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in October 2004 there was a year-on-year increase of 41.73%, 15.4 points above the 36.9 pts reached in the same month of 2003.
