The FAO Vegetable Oil Price Index of the month of September 2022 reached the 152.6 points, which meant a decline of -6.55% in relation to previous mensual index of August, that was 163.3 points (-10.7 pts), and was placed a -18.73% under the annual average of 187.77 points recorded (-35.17 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 251.8 points was 65.01% higgher than the selected month (+99.2 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 144.6, that is 5.53% lower than the 152.6 points of September 2022 (-8 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in September 2022 there was a year-on-year decline of -9.49%, 16 points under the 168.6 pts reached in the same month of 2021.
