The FAO Vegetable Oil Price Index of the month of June 2017 reached the 97.47 points, which meant a decline of -4.4% in relation to previous mensual index of May, that was 101.96 points (-4.49 pts), and was placed a -4.35% under the annual average of 101.91 points recorded (-4.44 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 112.19 points was 15.1% higgher than the selected month (+14.72 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 96.66, that is 0.84% lower than the 97.47 points of June 2017 (-0.81 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in June 2017 there was a year-on-year decline of -0.47%, 0.46 points under the 97.93 pts reached in the same month of 2016.
