The FAO Vegetable Oil Price Index of the month of April 2023 reached the 130 points, which meant an decline of -1.37% in relation to previous mensual index of March, that was 131.8 points (-1.8 pts), and was placed a 2.64% above the annual average of 126.66 points recorded (+3.34 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 140.4 points was 8% higgher than the selected month (+10.4 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 115.8, that is 12.26% lower than the 130 points of April 2023 (-14.2 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in April 2023 there was a year-on-year decline of -45.26%, 107.5 points under the 237.5 pts reached in the same month of 2022.
