The FAO Vegetable Oil Price Index of the month of January 2019 reached the 80.26 points, which meant a increase of 4.45% in relation to previous mensual index of December UNDEF(of) 2018, that was 76.84 points (+3.42 pts), and was placed a -3.58% under the annual average of 83.24 points recorded (-2.98 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 101.5 points was 26.46% higgher than the selected month (+21.24 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 77.46, that is 3.61% lower than the 80.26 points of January 2019 (-2.8 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in January 2019 there was a year-on-year decline of -18.31%, 17.99 points under the 98.25 pts reached in the same month of 2018.
