The FAO Vegetable Oil Price Index of the month of November 2009 reached the 101.76 points, which meant an increase of 6.92% in relation to previous mensual index of October, that was 95.17 points (+6.59 pts), and was placed a 7.76% above the annual average of 94.43 points recorded (+7.33 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 107.56 points was 5.7% higgher than the selected month (+5.8 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 81.49, that is 24.87% lower than the 101.76 points of November 2009 (-20.27 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in November 2009 there was a year-on-year increase of 24.05%, 19.73 points above the 82.03 pts reached in the same month of 2008.
