The FAO Cereal Price Index of the month of July 2010 reached the 95.3 points, which meant a increase of 8.54% in relation to previous mensual index of June, that was 87.8 points (+7.5 pts), and was placed a -11.36% under the annual average of 107.51 points recorded (-12.21 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 139.7 points was 46.59% higgher than the selected month (+44.4 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 87.8, that is 8.54% lower than the 95.3 points of July 2010 (-7.5 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in July 2010 there was a year-on-year increase of 0.85%, 0.8 points above the 94.5 pts reached in the same month of 2009.
