The FAO Cereal Price Index of the month of July 1992 reached the 58.5 points, which meant a decline of -5.34% in relation to previous mensual index of June, that was 61.8 points (-3.3 pts), and was placed a -4.03% under the annual average of 60.96 points recorded (-2.46 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 66.5 points was 13.68% higgher than the selected month (+8 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 56.1, that is 4.28% lower than the 58.5 points of July 1992 (-2.4 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in July 1992 there was a year-on-year increase of 5.03%, 2.8 points above the 55.7 pts reached in the same month of 1991.
