The FAO Cereal Price Index of the month of May 2015 reached the 95.7 points, which meant a decline of -2.55% in relation to previous mensual index of April, that was 98.2 points (-2.5 pts), and was placed a -0.18% under the annual average of 95.88 points recorded (-0.17 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 105.9 points was 10.66% higgher than the selected month (+10.2 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 89.4, that is 7.05% lower than the 95.7 points of May 2015 (-6.3 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in May 2015 there was a year-on-year decline of -23.56%, 29.5 points under the 125.2 pts reached in the same month of 2014.
