The FAO Cereal Price Index of the month of March 2015 reached the 99.5 points, which meant an decline of -2.07% in relation to previous mensual index of February, that was 101.6 points (-2.1 pts), and was placed a 3.78% above the annual average of 95.88 points recorded (+3.63 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 105.9 points was 6.43% higgher than the selected month (+6.4 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 89.4, that is 11.3% lower than the 99.5 points of March 2015 (-10.1 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in March 2015 there was a year-on-year decline of -20.65%, 25.9 points under the 125.4 pts reached in the same month of 2014.
