The FAO Cereal Price Index of the month of November 2012 reached the 148.5 points, which meant an increase of 1.37% in relation to previous mensual index of October, that was 146.5 points (+2 pts), and was placed a 8.08% above the annual average of 137.4 points recorded (+11.1 pts).

The record of this month was the highest value achieved throughout the year, with a difference of 18.52% above the lowest monthly value , that was 125.3 points (-23.2 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in November 2012 there was a year-on-year increase of 13.45%, 17.6 points above the 130.9 pts reached in the same month of 2011.
