The FAO Meat Price Index of the month of November 2011 reached the 108.3 points, which meant an increase of 1.98% in relation to previous mensual index of October, that was 106.2 points (+2.1 pts), and was placed a 2.81% above the annual average of 105.34 points recorded (+2.96 pts).

The record of this month was the highest value achieved throughout the year, with a difference of 10.96% above the lowest monthly value , that was 97.6 points (-10.7 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in November 2011 there was a year-on-year increase of 12.7%, 12.2 points above the 96.1 pts reached in the same month of 2010.
