The FAO Food Price Index of the month of September 2022 reached the 136 points, which meant a decline of -1.16% in relation to previous mensual index of August, that was 137.6 points (-1.6 pts), and was placed a -5.33% under the annual average of 143.65 points recorded (-7.65 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 159.7 points was 17.43% higgher than the selected month (+23.7 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 131.8, that is 3.19% lower than the 136 points of September 2022 (-4.2 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in September 2022 there was a year-on-year increase of 5.26%, 6.8 points above the 129.2 pts reached in the same month of 2021.
