The FAO Food Price Index of the month of September 1995 reached the 78.3 points, which meant an increase of 0.38% in relation to previous mensual index of August, that was 78 points (+0.3 pts), and was placed a 2.19% above the annual average of 76.63 points recorded (+1.67 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 80.4 points was 2.68% higgher than the selected month (+2.1 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 72.9, that is 7.41% lower than the 78.3 points of September 1995 (-5.4 pts).
