The FAO Food Price Index of the month of November 2007 reached the 110.5 points, which meant an increase of 2.7% in relation to previous mensual index of October, that was 107.6 points (+2.9 pts), and was placed a 17.23% above the annual average of 94.26 points recorded (+16.24 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 114.4 points was 3.53% higgher than the selected month (+3.9 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 78.1, that is 41.49% lower than the 110.5 points of November 2007 (-32.4 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in November 2007 there was a year-on-year increase of 42.58%, 33 points above the 77.5 pts reached in the same month of 2006.
