The FAO Food Price Index of the month of October 2015 reached the 90.4 points, which meant a increase of 1.57% in relation to previous mensual index of September, that was 89 points (+1.4 pts), and was placed a -2.85% under the annual average of 93.05 points recorded (-2.65 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 100.7 points was 11.39% higgher than the selected month (+10.3 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 87.1, that is 3.79% lower than the 90.4 points of October 2015 (-3.3 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in October 2015 there was a year-on-year decline of -17.37%, 19 points under the 109.4 pts reached in the same month of 2014.
