The wholesale price of Clams (Chamelea gallina) along the week from 3 to 9 of September 2018 reached the 4.76 euros per kilogram, which meant a decline of -10.02% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 5.29€/kg (-0.53€), and was placed a -11.64% under the annual average of 5.39€/kg recorded (-0.63€).

The highest weekly value achieved throughout the year of 6.93 euros was 45.59% higgher than the selected week (+2.17€), while the lowest value during the period was 4.52, that is 5.31% lower than the 4.76€/kg of 36th week of 2018 (-0.24€).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in 36th week of 2018 there was a year-on-year decline of -9.16%, 0.48 euros under the 5.24€ reached in the same week of 2017.

Regarding the retail price, this reached the 9.92 euros per kilogram, which meant a decline of -1.88% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 10.11€/kg (-0.19€), and was placed a -2.42% under the annual average of 10.17€/kg recorded (-0.25€).

This is the lowest record reached in the entire year, presenting a difference of +0.74€/kg (7.46%) with respect to the highest weekly value of 2018, which was 10.66 euros.

In relation to the values of the previous year, in 36th week of 2018 there was a year-on-year decline of -1.49%, 0.15 euros under the 10.07€ reached in the same week of 2017.
