The origin middle value of the Agricultural Price Index along the week from 20 to 26 of March 2017 reached the 0.581 euros, which meant an increase of 7.79% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 0.54€ (+0.04€), and was placed a 12.16% above the annual average of 0.52€ recorded (+0.06€).
The highest weekly value achieved throughout the year of 0.73 euros was 25.82% higgher than the selected week (+0.15€), while the lowest value during the period was 0.42, that is 37.03% lower than the 0.581€ of 12th week of 2017 (-0.16€).
In relation to the values of the previous year, in 12th week of 2017 there was a year-on-year increase of 1.75%, 0.01 euros above the 0.57€ reached in the same week of 2016.
Wholesale Prices
Regarding the wholesale average, this reached the 0.927 euros, which meant a decline of -7.58% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 1€ (-0.08€), and was placed a -2.83% under the annual average of 0.95€ recorded (-0.03€).
The highest weekly value achieved throughout the year of 1.26 euros was 35.49% higgher than the selected week (+0.33€), while the lowest value during the period was 0.81, that is 14.3% lower than the 0.927€ of 12th week of 2017 (-0.12€).
In relation to the values of the previous year, in 12th week of 2017 there was a year-on-year decline of -1.49%, 0.01 euros under the 0.94€ reached in the same week of 2016.
Retail Prices
Regarding the retail average, this reached the 1.772 euros, which meant a decline of -6.04% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 1.89€ (-0.11€), and was placed a -5.49% under the annual average of 1.88€ recorded (-0.1€).
This is the lowest record reached in the entire year, presenting a difference of +0.28€ (15.52%) with respect to the highest weekly value of 2017, which was 2.05 euros.
In relation to the values of the previous year, in 12th week of 2017 there was a year-on-year decline of -0.11%, 0 euros under the 1.77€ reached in the same week of 2016.
