Origin Prices
The origin middle value of the Food Prices Index along the week from 18 to 24 of October 2021 reached the 1.537 euros, which meant a decline of -10.06% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 1.71€ (-0.17€), and was placed a -17.23% under the annual average of 1.86€ recorded (-0.32€).
The highest weekly value achieved throughout the year of 2.45 euros was 59.4% higgher than the selected week (+0.91€), while the lowest value during the period was 1.52, that is 1.05% lower than the 1.537€ of 42th week of 2021 (-0.02€).
In relation to the values of the previous year, in 42th week of 2021 there was a year-on-year decline of -11.31%, 0.2 euros under the 1.73€ reached in the same week of 2020.
Wholesale Prices
Regarding the wholesale average, this reached the 2.845 euros, which meant a decline of -3.85% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 2.96€ (-0.11€), and was placed a -5.01% under the annual average of 3€ recorded (-0.15€).
The highest weekly value achieved throughout the year of 3.5 euros was 22.85% higgher than the selected week (+0.65€), while the lowest value during the period was 2.77, that is 2.6% lower than the 2.845€ of 42th week of 2021 (-0.07€).
In relation to the values of the previous year, in 42th week of 2021 there was a year-on-year decline of -3.07%, 0.09 euros under the 2.94€ reached in the same week of 2020.
