The origin middle value of the Food Prices Index along the week from 18 to 24 of July 2011 reached the 2.078 euros, which meant an increase of 3.69% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 2€ (+0.07€), and was placed a 6.56% above the annual average of 1.95€ recorded (+0.13€).
The highest weekly value achieved throughout the year of 2.12 euros was 1.83% higgher than the selected week (+0.04€), while the lowest value during the period was 1.71, that is 21.59% lower than the 2.078€ of 29th week of 2011 (-0.37€).
In relation to the values of the previous year, in 29th week of 2011 there was a year-on-year increase of 6.62%, 0.13 euros above the 1.95€ reached in the same week of 2010.
Wholesale Prices
Regarding the wholesale average, this reached the 2.454 euros, which meant a increase of 1.91% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 2.41€ (+0.05€), and was placed a -1.25% under the annual average of 2.49€ recorded (-0.03€).
The highest weekly value achieved throughout the year of 2.73 euros was 11.25% higgher than the selected week (+0.28€), while the lowest value during the period was 2.27, that is 8.3% lower than the 2.454€ of 29th week of 2011 (-0.19€).
In relation to the values of the previous year, in 29th week of 2011 there was a year-on-year increase of 2.68%, 0.06 euros above the 2.39€ reached in the same week of 2010.
Retail Prices
Regarding the retail average, this reached the 5.029 euros, remaining unchanged with respect to the price of the previous week. This 5.029€ are placed a -0.46% under the annual average of 5.05€ recorded (-0.02€).
The highest weekly value achieved throughout the year of 5.17 euros was 2.84% higgher than the selected week (+0.14€), while the lowest value during the period was 4.9, that is 2.72% lower than the 5.029€ of 29th week of 2011 (-0.13€).
