Origin Prices
The origin middle value of the Food Prices Index along the week from 19 to 25 of June 2017 reached the 2.128 euros, which meant an increase of 10.43% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 1.93€ (+0.2€), and was placed a 5.29% above the annual average of 2.02€ recorded (+0.11€).
The highest weekly value achieved throughout the year of 2.5 euros was 17.62% higgher than the selected week (+0.38€), while the lowest value during the period was 1.18, that is 80.19% lower than the 2.128€ of 25th week of 2017 (-0.95€).
In relation to the values of the previous year, in 25th week of 2017 there was a year-on-year decline of -5.59%, 0.13 euros under the 2.25€ reached in the same week of 2016.
Wholesale Prices
Regarding the wholesale average, this reached the 2.828 euros, which meant a decline of -1.67% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 2.88€ (-0.05€), and was placed a -1.74% under the annual average of 2.88€ recorded (-0.05€).
The highest weekly value achieved throughout the year of 3.31 euros was 16.94% higgher than the selected week (+0.48€), while the lowest value during the period was 2.67, that is 5.8% lower than the 2.828€ of 25th week of 2017 (-0.16€).
In relation to the values of the previous year, in 25th week of 2017 there was a year-on-year decline of -2.35%, 0.07 euros under the 2.9€ reached in the same week of 2016.
Retail Prices
Regarding the retail average, this reached the 5.497 euros, which meant a increase of 0.35% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 5.48€ (+0.02€), and was placed a -1.33% under the annual average of 5.57€ recorded (-0.07€).
The highest weekly value achieved throughout the year of 5.78 euros was 5.08% higgher than the selected week (+0.28€), while the lowest value during the period was 5.35, that is 2.82% lower than the 5.497€ of 25th week of 2017 (-0.15€).
In relation to the values of the previous year, in 25th week of 2017 there was a year-on-year increase of 2.5%, 0.13 euros above the 5.36€ reached in the same week of 2016.
