The origin middle value of the Food Prices Index along the week from 15 to 21 of March 2021 reached the 1.769 euros, which meant a increase of 9.2% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 1.62€ (+0.15€), and was placed a -4.74% under the annual average of 1.86€ recorded (-0.09€).
The highest weekly value achieved throughout the year of 2.45 euros was 38.5% higgher than the selected week (+0.68€), while the lowest value during the period was 1.52, that is 16.31% lower than the 1.769€ of 11th week of 2021 (-0.25€).
In relation to the values of the previous year, in 11th week of 2021 there was a year-on-year decline of -8.58%, 0.17 euros under the 1.94€ reached in the same week of 2020.
Wholesale Prices
Regarding the wholesale average, this reached the 2.775 euros, which meant a decline of -1.98% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 2.83€ (-0.06€), and was placed a -7.35% under the annual average of 3€ recorded (-0.22€).
The highest weekly value achieved throughout the year of 3.5 euros was 25.95% higgher than the selected week (+0.72€), while the lowest value during the period was 2.77, that is 0.07% lower than the 2.775€ of 11th week of 2021 (-0€).
