The origin middle value of the Food Prices Index along the week from 21 to 27 of September 2020 reached the 1.645 euros, which meant a decline of -4.75% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 1.73€ (-0.08€), and was placed a -11.32% under the annual average of 1.86€ recorded (-0.21€).
The highest weekly value achieved throughout the year of 2.24 euros was 35.87% higgher than the selected week (+0.59€), while the lowest value during the period was 1.55, that is 6.2% lower than the 1.645€ of 39th week of 2020 (-0.1€).
In relation to the values of the previous year, in 39th week of 2020 there was a year-on-year decline of -2.66%, 0.04 euros under the 1.69€ reached in the same week of 2019.
Wholesale Prices
Regarding the wholesale average, this reached the 2.893 euros, which meant a decline of -2.4% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 2.96€ (-0.07€), and was placed a -2.53% under the annual average of 2.97€ recorded (-0.08€).
The highest weekly value achieved throughout the year of 3.44 euros was 18.91% higgher than the selected week (+0.55€), while the lowest value during the period was 2.72, that is 6.52% lower than the 2.893€ of 39th week of 2020 (-0.18€).
In relation to the values of the previous year, in 39th week of 2020 there was a year-on-year increase of 0.21%, 0.01 euros above the 2.89€ reached in the same week of 2019.
