The origin middle value of the Food Prices Index along the week from 12 to 18 of September 2022 reached the 2.222 euros, which meant an increase of 1.41% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 2.19€ (+0.03€), and was placed a 1.88% above the annual average of 2.18€ recorded (+0.04€).
The highest weekly value achieved throughout the year of 2.56 euros was 14.99% higgher than the selected week (+0.33€), while the lowest value during the period was 1.83, that is 21.69% lower than the 2.222€ of 37th week of 2022 (-0.4€).
In relation to the values of the previous year, in 37th week of 2022 there was a year-on-year increase of 39.31%, 0.63 euros above the 1.6€ reached in the same week of 2021.
Wholesale Prices
Regarding the wholesale average, this reached the 3.245 euros, which meant a increase of 3.94% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 3.12€ (+0.12€), and was placed a -4.28% under the annual average of 3.39€ recorded (-0.15€).
The highest weekly value achieved throughout the year of 3.69 euros was 13.71% higgher than the selected week (+0.45€), while the lowest value during the period was 3.12, that is 3.94% lower than the 3.245€ of 37th week of 2022 (-0.12€).
In relation to the values of the previous year, in 37th week of 2022 there was a year-on-year increase of 13.42%, 0.38 euros above the 2.86€ reached in the same week of 2021.
