The origin middle value of the Food Prices Index along the week from 5 to 11 of September 2022 reached the 2.191 euros, which meant an decline of -4.2% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 2.29€ (-0.1€), and was placed a 0.46% above the annual average of 2.18€ recorded (+0.01€).

The highest weekly value achieved throughout the year of 2.56 euros was 16.61% higgher than the selected week (+0.36€), while the lowest value during the period was 1.83, that is 19.99% lower than the 2.191€ of 36th week of 2022 (-0.37€).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in 36th week of 2022 there was a year-on-year increase of 40.63%, 0.63 euros above the 1.56€ reached in the same week of 2021.

Regarding the wholesale average, this reached the 3.122 euros, which meant a decline of -4.29% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 3.26€ (-0.14€), and was placed a -7.91% under the annual average of 3.39€ recorded (-0.27€).

This is the lowest record reached in the entire year, presenting a difference of +0.57€ (18.19%) with respect to the highest weekly value of 2022, which was 3.69 euros.

In relation to the values of the previous year, in 36th week of 2022 there was a year-on-year increase of 7.54%, 0.22 euros above the 2.9€ reached in the same week of 2021.
