The origin middle value of the Food Prices Index along the week from 26 April to 2 May 2010 reached the 1.722 euros, which meant a decline of -5.8% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 1.83€ (-0.11€), and was placed a -8.99% under the annual average of 1.89€ recorded (-0.17€).

The highest weekly value achieved throughout the year of 2.07 euros was 20.21% higgher than the selected week (+0.35€), while the lowest value during the period was 1.72, that is 0.12% lower than the 1.722€ of 17th week of 2010 (-0€).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in 17th week of 2010 there was a year-on-year decline of -2.66%, 0.05 euros under the 1.77€ reached in the same week of 2009.

Wholesale Prices

Regarding the wholesale average, this reached the 2.482 euros, which meant a decline of -3.24% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 2.57€ (-0.08€), and was placed right in the arithmetic mean of all the weekly values recorded throughout the year.

The highest weekly value achieved throughout the year of 2.78 euros was 12.09% higgher than the selected week (+0.3€), while the lowest value during the period was 2.33, that is 6.66% lower than the 2.482€ of 17th week of 2010 (-0.16€).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in 17th week of 2010 there was a year-on-year increase of 10.07%, 0.23 euros above the 2.26€ reached in the same week of 2009.

Retail Prices

Regarding the retail average, this reached the 5.11 euros, which meant an decline of -0.29% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 5.13€ (-0.01€), and was placed a 0.67% above the annual average of 5.08€ recorded (+0.03€).

The highest weekly value achieved throughout the year of 5.14 euros was 0.57% higgher than the selected week (+0.03€), while the lowest value during the period was 5.01, that is 1.96% lower than the 5.11€ of 17th week of 2010 (-0.1€).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in 17th week of 2010 there was a year-on-year increase of 1.57%, 0.08 euros above the 5.03€ reached in the same week of 2009.
