The origin price of Veal, First A meat along the week from 7 to 13 of January 2013 reached the 3.88 euros per kilogram, which meant a decline of -0.77% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 3.91€/kg (-0.03€), and was placed a -2.19% under the annual average of 3.97€/kg recorded (-0.09€).

The highest weekly value achieved throughout the year of 4.11 euros was 5.93% higgher than the selected week (+0.23€), while the lowest value during the period was 3.86, that is 0.52% lower than the 3.88€/kg of 2nd week of 2013 (-0.02€).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in 2nd week of 2013 there was a year-on-year decline of -0.77%, 0.03 euros under the 3.91€ reached in the same week of 2012.

Regarding the retail price, this reached the 17.1 euros per kilogram, which meant a decline of -0.12% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 17.12€/kg (-0.02€), and was placed a -3.16% under the annual average of 17.66€/kg recorded (-0.56€).

This is the lowest record reached in the entire year, presenting a difference of +0.87€/kg (5.09%) with respect to the highest weekly value of 2013, which was 17.97 euros.

In relation to the values of the previous year, in 2nd week of 2013 there was a year-on-year increase of 11.26%, 1.73 euros above the 15.37€ reached in the same week of 2012.
