Wholesale Prices
Regarding the wholesale price, this reached the 6.14 euros per kilogram, which meant an increase of 14.98% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 5.34€/kg (+0.8€), and was placed a 12.74% above the annual average of 5.45€/kg recorded (+0.69€).
The record of this week was the highest value achieved throughout the year, with a difference of 21.83% above the lowest weekly value , that was 5.04€/kg (-1.1€).
In relation to the values of the previous year, in 12th week of 2017 there was a year-on-year increase of 0.33%, 0.02 euros above the 6.12€ reached in the same week of 2016.
Retail Prices
Regarding the retail price, this reached the 9.79 euros per kilogram, which meant a decline of -3.45% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 10.14€/kg (-0.35€), and was placed a -2.43% under the annual average of 10.03€/kg recorded (-0.24€).
This is the lowest record reached in the entire year, presenting a difference of +0.67€/kg (6.84%) with respect to the highest weekly value of 2017, which was 10.46 euros.
