Origin Prices

The origin price of Albacore along the week from 26 June to 2 July 2017 reached the 7.85 euros per kilogram, which meant an increase of 1.03% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 7.77€/kg (+0.08€), and was placed a 78.77% above the annual average of 4.39€/kg recorded (+3.46€).

The record of this week was the highest value achieved throughout the year, with a difference of 528% above the lowest weekly value , that was 1.25€/kg (-6.6€).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in 26th week of 2017 there was a year-on-year increase of 78%, 3.44 euros above the 4.41€ reached in the same week of 2016.

Wholesale Prices

Regarding the wholesale price, this reached the 8.2 euros per kilogram, which meant an increase of 6.49% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 7.7€/kg (+0.5€), and was placed a 21.54% above the annual average of 6.75€/kg recorded (+1.45€).

The highest weekly value achieved throughout the year of 9.15 euros was 11.59% higgher than the selected week (+0.95€), while the lowest value during the period was 5.2, that is 57.69% lower than the 8.2€/kg of 26th week of 2017 (-3€).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in 26th week of 2017 there was a year-on-year increase of 20.77%, 1.41 euros above the 6.79€ reached in the same week of 2016.

Retail Prices

Regarding the retail price, this reached the 12.16 euros per kilogram, which meant an decline of -1.62% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 12.36€/kg (-0.2€), and was placed a 7.09% above the annual average of 11.36€/kg recorded (+0.81€).

The highest weekly value achieved throughout the year of 12.56 euros was 3.29% higgher than the selected week (+0.4€), while the lowest value during the period was 10.68, that is 13.86% lower than the 12.16€/kg of 26th week of 2017 (-1.48€).
