The FAO Sugar Price Index of the month of November 2018 reached the 79.9 points, which meant an increase of 4.44% in relation to previous mensual index of October, that was 76.5 points (+3.4 pts), and was placed a 3.23% above the annual average of 77.4 points recorded (+2.5 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 87.2 points was 9.14% higgher than the selected month (+7.3 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 68.6, that is 16.47% lower than the 79.9 points of November 2018 (-11.3 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in November 2018 there was a year-on-year decline of -13.81%, 12.8 points under the 92.7 pts reached in the same month of 2017.
