The FAO Vegetable Oil Price Index of the month of September 2018 reached the 82.33 points, which meant a decline of -2.49% in relation to previous mensual index of August, that was 84.43 points (-2.1 pts), and was placed a -6.19% under the annual average of 87.76 points recorded (-5.43 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 98.25 points was 19.34% higgher than the selected month (+15.92 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 76.59, that is 7.49% lower than the 82.33 points of September 2018 (-5.74 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in September 2018 there was a year-on-year decline of -20.71%, 21.5 points under the 103.83 pts reached in the same month of 2017.
