The FAO Vegetable Oil Price Index of the month of July 2011 reached the 156.05 points, which meant a decline of -2.94% in relation to previous mensual index of June, that was 160.78 points (-4.73 pts), and was placed a -0.27% under the annual average of 156.48 points recorded (-0.43 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 175.43 points was 12.42% higgher than the selected month (+19.38 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 137.99, that is 13.09% lower than the 156.05 points of July 2011 (-18.06 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in July 2011 there was a year-on-year increase of 41.7%, 45.92 points above the 110.13 pts reached in the same month of 2010.
