The FAO Meat Price Index of the month of June 2022 reached the 125.9 points, which meant an increase of 2.44% in relation to previous mensual index of May, that was 122.9 points (+3 pts), and was placed a 6% above the annual average of 118.78 points recorded (+7.13 pts).

The record of this month was the highest value achieved throughout the year, with a difference of 12.31% above the lowest monthly value , that was 112.1 points (-13.8 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in June 2022 there was a year-on-year increase of 13.73%, 15.2 points above the 110.7 pts reached in the same month of 2021.
