The FAO Meat Price Index of the month of June 2014 reached the 116.2 points, which meant an increase of 3.66% in relation to previous mensual index of May, that was 112.1 points (+4.1 pts), and was placed a 3.52% above the annual average of 112.25 points recorded (+3.95 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 119.2 points was 2.58% higgher than the selected month (+3 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 103.2, that is 12.6% lower than the 116.2 points of June 2014 (-13 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in June 2014 there was a year-on-year increase of 10.67%, 11.2 points above the 105 pts reached in the same month of 2013.
